Rachelle was teaching French at the University of Victoria when she first heard about Premiere Executive Suites. She was intrigued by a hotel model that utilized fully furnished condos for accommodation, and after some investigating with her business partner they purchased the franchise for Victoria BC. 10 years ago they started with one apartment and $3000, which has now grown to nearly 50 apartments and a staff of 10. In her years of running the Victoria location, Rachelle has enjoyed meeting new guests and clients from all over the world. She enjoys traveling, particularly cycling trips through Europe, and is very fond of French white wines.

Dennis Li
Operations Manager

It’s hard to believe how quickly time has flown, as Dennis has been with Premiere Victoria for nearly 7 years now. Though his job title is technically Operations Manager, there is very little that Dennis doesn’t do for us. If it involves any sort of work outside the office, he will be there. From coordinating and supervising service appointments to repair work, Dennis always makes sure that the work is done. He’s irreplaceable and our company runs much smoother with his assistance. Dennis is a huge soccer fan and often spends his weekends on the soccer field with friends.

 

 


 

Leah Speller
Accounting Manager

After traveling around the world and spending several years working in Whistler BC, Leah came to Victoria and eventually found her way to Premiere. She joined our team as an accounting assistant while also taking classes to acquire her CPA, and has now taken charge of the entire accounting department. She puts in endless hours ensuring everything is in order and also assists our housekeeping team with their logistics. Her hobbies include cycling and cross stitching, and we suspect she has the largest earring collection in the city.

Dani Monaghan
Office Manager and Executive Assistant

Dani has a wealth of administrative knowledge and expertise in policy and procedure as well as efficiencies in managing an office with many people.  Dani is also our go to person for outside the box problem solving.  She is incredibly talented in multi media and has a very interesting background in film.  Dani is the “bringer” of fun and consumer of candy in our office.  She has an excellent sense of humour and quick wit.

Courtney Hilverda
Reservations Coordinator

As the newest member to Premiere Suites Victoria, we warmly welcome Courtney to the team!  After relocating back to Victoria from her time in the Interior, she heads our guest services department as our full time Reservations Coordinator.  Courtney brings extensive experience working within the tourism and hospitality industry, as well as a background in Resort & Hotel Management studies.  In her spare time, Courtney enjoys taking walks along the ocean, spending time with friends and family, and going to the movies on weekends.  She looks forward to getting to know our guests and also to helping you book your next reservation.

Tracy McEwan
Office Assistant

Coming from a background in tourism and corporate travel, Tracy wears many hats as Premiere’s office assistant, taking care of everything from reception to social media, assisting reservations, suite set-ups, website management, and accounting related duties.  She loves the dynamic work environment where every day is a new venture!  Tracy is a great point of contact for new owners, as she has recently become not just an employee, but a client as well.  The first-hand experience she has gained in her partnership with Premiere Suites has been invaluable, not to mention the newfound love she has for her beautifully furnished executive suite that is proudly represented by Premiere!  Outside of work, you will often find Tracy at the beach with her son and chihuahua, cooking for her friends and family, and pursuing her interest in photography.  She has always loved to travel and has seen many distant lands from Jamaica to Australia, Africa, Europe, New Zealand, and throughout the Caribbean.  Her backpack has been traded for diaper bags and strollers but she still loves to travel and experience the world, family in tow.

Housekeeping Supervisor

Sonal came to us last year from Ontario, where she completed her schooling and obtained her Bachelor of Science.  She had an interesting job as a Chemist in the Research and Development department for MAC and Estee Lauder, before moving out to BC with her fiancé.  After just a few months working in our housekeeping team, she was quickly promoted to Housekeeping Supervisor.  She loves her team, and getting to know the residents and their families has been very special for her.  Always keeping in mind how she would want any one of her loved ones in our suites, and how she would want their home and laundry taken care of, is a top priority for her.  She really enjoys what she does and the pristine state of our suites is the proof!  She recently travelled to India to get married, where she connected with over 800 friends and family members, and has been glowing ever since.

Marketing Manager

Owner and founder of the Magical Marketing Booth, Beverly combines twenty years of diverse experience with her passion and expertise in the tourism and hospitality industry.  Bev has held senior sales and marketing roles in the hotel industry and has used her strategic alliances ability to garner exclusive, long-term business agreements with prestigious clients.  Bev delights in using her creativity to offer clients unique insights, perspectives and relationships gained through consistent and proven successes.  Her “magical” ability is in her enthusiasm for matching a large network of suppliers and buyers in the leisure, luxury, corporate, incentive, and educational markets.  Her strong community involvement spans tourism and chamber boards, chairing organizations such as Vancouver Island Meeting Planners & Suppliers, the Liaison Committee of CFB Esquimalt, Friends of Protecteur, VI South Film Commission, and the Victoria Hospital Foundation.  Bev plays golf, is dedicated to her family and friends, and loves to travel and experience new adventures.  Premiere Suites Victoria is thrilled to have Beverly join our team!  Her warm, outgoing demeanor and drive for professional growth are an inspiration to us all.

James is a local Victoria photographer transplanted from Ontario. James’ professional work outside of photography is focussed in the areas of conflict management and working with marginalized segments of our population.  James is currently working on photographic projects to highlight social issues he has been involved with over the years.  James is working on blending the social justice aspect of his work with his formal training in conflict management.

James is also passionate about capturing the beauty of Vancouver Island and the people who call Victoria home. James the photographer for various local fundraising events, such as Lifering and Ride to Support Breast Cancer. James is the official photographer for the Victoria Supermoto Club.  His photos have helped to raise the profile of the club and have published his racing pictures in 3 national magazines: Canadian Biker, Sept 2012; Insider Motorcycle, Sept 2012; S3 Magazine, Nov 2015.

We are thrilled to have a staff photographer with as much experience and skill as James. We are very fortunate!
