    Victoria Suites just wanted to bring some attention to a little gem hidden in Oak Bay! David, the owner and operator of Oak Bay Cobbler, has been working for the last 35 years to help restore Island local’s beloved shoes, purses, and belts. With COVID-19, many local businesses have been struggling, and it is sad to see such a cherished and dedicated craftsman struggle to make it through these last 13 months. The President and Managing Partner of Victoria Suites has relied on David for the past twelve years.

    “For the last 10 or 12 years, I have been taking my shoes, belts, purses and anything else made out of leather to the Oak Bay Cobbler. With COVID-19, I have not been by for a few months, but I recently dropped off shoes that needed a little attention and some Italian boots for David to fix. At that time, David let me know that his business is suffering because of COVID-19. David has punched more holes in my belts, sewn broken stitches in leather jackets and fixed many, many shoes for me. All worth investing a little more money in.
